You`ve Never Been This Far Away
View From Faraway Bay Western Australia

The Bush Camp at Faraway Bay

We had a wonderful time over the last four days.  It was amazing to see the vastness of this Kimberley Region.  Photographs can’t capture the beauty.  The individual attention we had from the crew was most appreciated……..Luckily we’ve experienced the No. 1 eco resort in the world!

Special Events

"I's like a breath of fresh air - it gets you in touch with the environment, stimulates ideas, and generates initiative in your cooking."
Chris Taylor

The famous annual Kimberley Cooking School is one of Australia's most unique gourmet getaways.

Learn tips and inside secrets from one of the country's best chefs in one of the world's most exotic kitchens.

Each May master chef Chris Taylor, who oversees several of Perth's best restaurants, swaps his chef's uniform for board shorts and sandals, and heads to Faraway Bay.

It's one of those once in a lifetime experiences that combine fresh local produce and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Kimberley Cooking School takes place in the open-air Eagle Lodge

The program offers a delicious combination of activity and relaxation.

With a laid back and informal flavour, you can be as hands on as you please.

There's also plenty of time for excursions and activities including boating to the magnificent twin falls on the King George River, fishing and exploring ancient rock art.

The Kimberley Cooking School consists of a three-day all-inclusive experience for 12 guests.
