Western Australia's Faraway Bay, The Bush Camp has won a coveted silver medal at the WA Tourism Awards in the category of Unique Accommodation.
The remote East Kimberley wilderness retreat was awarded the medal at a gala ceremony at Perth's Burswood Entertainment Complex last night.
Owner's Bruce and Robyn Ellison were excited to receive such a prestigious accolade.
"We are thrilled to be rated among the best Unique Accommodation properties in Western Australia - again!" said Mr Ellison.
"The team at Faraway Bay works incredibly hard to ensure our guests enjoy a completely unique wilderness experience, so it's fantastic to see our efforts have paid off," he said.
It's a record fifth time Faraway Bay has been honoured in the state awards for Unique Accommodation. It also collected the award in 2001, 2003, 2007 and 2008.
Faraway Bay won the National Tourism Award for Unique Accommodation in 2004, 2007 and 2008.
